I am honored to run for the CVWD Board. Having moved to La Crescenta over six years ago to start a family, I have enjoyed raising my five-year-old son in this vibrant community. My current appointed term, which began in January, has been fulfilling, and I am eager to continue serving as an elected member.

With over 15 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Associate at the LADWP, I bring extensive expertise in addressing our district’s water challenges. My background includes a focus on water rights and water recycling, where I collaborated closely with the water conservation group. This expertise positions me well to address the complex water issues our district faces.

In addition to my professional background, I am deeply involved in community service. As Treasurer and Elder at my childhood church, I contribute to decisions that benefit our community. I also volunteer at the church’s food pantry and coordinate with the LA Food Bank, demonstrating my commitment to supporting those in need.

Additionally, my former experience as a small business owner gives me valuable insights into the impact of water policies on local businesses. This perspective helps ensure that CVWD decisions are balanced and considerate of both residents and businesses.

In summary, my expertise in water management, dedication to community service, and understanding of business challenges make me a strong candidate for the CVWD Board. I look forward to the opportunity to continue contributing to our community’s success. Thank you for your consideration.
